Skirmishers are a variant of Kig-Yar used as shock-troops.They have only appeared in the 2012 Spade VS. Skirmisher set and is the only Covenant figure in the set. It was seen holding the all new Needle Rifle as shown on the picture. They are also the first of the covenant species that you encounter
on Halo:Reach.
