Jackals are the Covenants snipers and scouts. They are armed with and carbines and energy shields. They come in the Shortsword, Hornet Attack, and ODST Hawk. They are mostly deployed as snipers and scouts. They are purple and brown and don't mess around when it comes to taking out a platoon of Marines. They came in the 2010 sets. They are not set to appear in 2011 sets currently. Their real name are Kig Yar.
