The Grunts- Unggoy are weaker then others, but come in large numbers. They are lead by Elites, Brutes or higher ranking grunts, as with most other species. They are short and weak and have been know to fall asleep easily. They will normally run away if their leader is killed. But a Marine can get killed by a group. They have appeared in several sets, and lately they haven't been appearing in many sets. In very big groups they can bring down a Spartan (But it must be a large group and are armed with Needlers or Plasma Pistols). Oddly, in the earlier sets, they are unarmed. In the newer sets they are armed with Plasma Pistols. The Grunts in the new Battlescape set may be suicide Grunts, as they are shown with two Plasma Grenades.
