The Covert Ops Drop-Pod is part of the second of 4 new drop pods that will be released this summer however they have already been spotted in the west coast of America as of April 2011. The other Drop Pods that will be released beside this one are the Arctic Sniper and the 2 new Covenant Drop Pods.
Trivia
- Unlike the other Drop Pods, this pod does not have it's color scheme on the pod. Instead, the Drop Pod has golden windows.
- First set to feature a Spartan Laser.
